Handmade Bone China Pieces

These Bone China pieces are made by myself, Vicky Parsons, in Alberta, Canada. Each piece is either hand-built or wheel thrown and then decorated in various ways.

What is bone china?

Originally bone china was actually made with animal bones and that is where the name came from. The porcelain I use to create my pieces substitutes animal bone with volcanic ash, as do many porcelains now.
